MICK SCHUMACHER and RICHARD MILLE: A Perfect Partnership
RICHARD MILLE warmly welcomes German young racing driver Mick Schumacher to its ranks as a brand ambassador, a testament to the legacy of champions. The Schumacher name, once synonymous with Formula One, now truly has a successor. On March 29th at the Bahrain International Circuit, Mick prepares to showcase his skills in Formula Two, the final hurdle before entering F1.
Decisiveness and ambition are what made Mick Schumacher who he is today, qualities that led him to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship last year. This season, Mick will team up with the Prema team for his first Formula Two race at the Bahrain International Circuit.
From the very beginning, Mick has earned public recognition and made a name for himself in the sports world with his remarkable diligence and perseverance. Previously, Mick competed under his mother's surname, Betsch, in karting, where he performed exceptionally well. In 2014, Mick, under the name Mick Junior, won second place in the World, European, and German Karting Championships. In 2015, Mick signed with the Dutch racing team Van Amersfoort, moving to ADAC (AfD) Formula 4 racing, and joined the Prema Powerteam the following year. Mick finished second in the 2016 German Championship and participated in the Italian Formula 4 Championship, achieving a respectable second place despite not participating in all races.
The following year, Mick progressed to Formula 3, subsequently winning the 2018 European Championship. "Racing is everything to me, and my goal is, of course, Formula 1. The FIA Formula 2 Championship brought me a huge step closer to my dream," Mick stated.
With everything in place, Mick has a strong chance of joining the ranks of top Formula 1 drivers and once again making audiences cheer for the name Schumacher.
